If you love Scooby-Doo as much as we do, you will really enjoy this site.  We have only a few rules.  Be nice to one another and have lots of FUN!

Absolutely NOT!!!  The question, “Are Scooby and Shaggy stoners” has come up a lot over the last 5 years or so.  To me this is very sad as we certainly didn’t make this assumption when I was growing up.  I don’t think the writers intended for them to carry such a terrible label either.  I prefer to think that the writers were trying to put together a dynamic of friends that would show the entire world that everyone can be friends…. the jocks, the brainiacs, the beauty queens, and the slackers.  I think it shows children today that everyone can form lasting friendships with people from all different social standings.

Boy, can you believe it is getting to be that time again?  Christmas!  Many of you might be thinking about making that Christmas list and getting started with your shopping early.  Well, if you are looking for the perfect Scooby-Doo gift, we have everything you could possibly imagine in our store….Scooby-Doo toys, Scooby-Doo stuffed animals, Scooby-Doo movies and games, Scooby-Doo pajamas, and so much more.

Shaggy for Scooby-Doo is one of the most loved characters on television.  His full name is Norville “Shaggy” Rogers.  Shaggy is one of four mystery-solving teenagers, Freddie, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy and their Great Dane, Scooby-Doo.  Shaggy’s character is somewhat of a coward who has more interest in eating than solving mysteries.  He and Scooby-Doo have a bottomless pit for stomach.  Next to Scooy-Doo, Shaggy is the most popular character in the Scooby-Doo franchise.

Shaggy’s character resembles someone from the 1960s era in the way he acts, dresses, and speaks.  He wears brown bell-bottom slacks with a long green t-shirt.  He has a goatee and shaggy-type brown hair.  Shaggy also speaks in a high squeaky voice when he is scared, but he can be bribed to be brave with Scooby Snacks.

Shaggy’s best friend in the whole world is Scooy-Doo.  Shaggy tends to treat Scooby-Doo as a real person instead of a pet.  They do everything together.  Shaggy and Scooby are always the “live bait” when it comes to setting the traps that catch the bad guys.  You will hear Shaggy say, “Zoinks” or “Gangway” whenever the monsters are close behind.  Shaggy and Scooby are portrayed as the cowards of the group, but they are always the ones who catch the bad guys in the end, actually being the unsung heroes.

Daphne Blake is one teenager in a group of four mystery-solving teenagers who was a character in the widely loved and adored animated series Scooby-Doo.  The group consisted of Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and their Great Dane named Scooy-Doo.  Daphne is known for her long red hair, her sense of fashion, although all her outfits are purple, and for her ability for fall into danger.  In fact, her friends make fun of her and call her Danger-prone Daphne as she was the one in the group who most often got kidnapped, gagged, and tied up being left in a dark room somewhere.

Aside from her stereotypical “damsel in distress” portrayal, she is also very smart.  Although not as smart as Velma, Daphne was able to solve her problems and get out of trouble with adding a bit of fashion flare.  In later episodes, Daphne is shown unlocking locks and doing other tasks with unpredicted items that she had in her purse.

It is assumed that Daphne comes from a wealthy family, although this has never been confirmed, and it is also assumed that Daphne and Fred have a love interest in each other.  This has been flirted with since the start of the series, but it also hasn’t ever been proven.

This is a really simple recipe and instructions for how to make Scooby-Doo ice cream cake.  Your family will love it!

First you will need a Scooby-Doo cake panmold.  If you don’t have one, you can find one in our Scooby-Doo store.  Next, you will need the ingredients below:

You can make your Scooby-Doo ice cream cakein two different ways… with the crumb crust over Scooby’s face or on the bottom of the cake, but you will need to decide this before you start.

Crust Bottom:
24 Oreo cookies, crushed
1/4 cup butter, melted
Ice Cream Filling:
1/2 gal. ice cream of your choice, softened so it’s easy to spread
8 oz. Cool Whip, optional
1/2 cup butter
1-1/2 square unsweetened chocolate
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 tsp salt

Spray your Scooby-Doo cake pan lightly with cooking spray for easy removal.  Mix crushed Oreos and 1/4 cup melted butter; spread and pack firmly over bottom of cake pan, freeze until firm (if you don’t want the crust over Scooby’s face, save this step for the last).  Layer 1/2 of your ice cream over crust bottom and freeze.  Melt 1/2 cup butter and unsweetened cocoa over low heat.  Add sugar, vanilla, evaporated milk, and salt.  Bring to a boil and cook until thickened.  Cool, pour over frozen ice cream and freeze.  Spread remaining softened ice cream over chocolate middle filling, freeze.  If you didn’t put the Oreo crumb crust at the bottom of the pan over Scooby’s face, you will want to do this now, pack firmly, and freeze.  Make sure the cake pan is full to the brim so that when you remove the cake from the pan, there won’t be any gapping between the cake and your serving plate causing the cake to pull away from the pan in pieces.

Removing your Scooby-Doo ice cream cake from the pan is easy.  Allow to sit for awhile, run a warm, damp cloth over the outside of the pan, and lift gently.  Top with Cool Whip if you wish.

Congratulations, You did it!  Enjoy!

You hear Fred, Daphne, and Velma say to Shaggy and Scooby, “Would you do it for a Scooby Snack?”  And of course, Shaggy and Scooby go nuts and do just about anything for their favorite snack.  Well you can now see what their excitement is all about.  Learn how to make Scooby Snacks yourself.  Below you will find a recipe for Scooby Snacks.  These snacks are for people and for dogs.

 2 cups flour
1 cup Quaker Dry Oatmeal
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon walnut extract
1/4 pound (1 stick) butter

Heat your oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix completely.  If you find the ingredients are too stiff to mix well, add a little milk.  You can add more sugar to taste.  Lightly grease a cookie sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes depending on how big you make them and whether you want chewy Scooby Snacks or crispy Scooby Snacks.

Scooby Snacks are sold in stores, but why spend the money now that you have the recipe and can make your own.  There you have it, Enjoy!

Velma from Scooby-Doo is usually considered to be the brains of the outfit.  Her full name is Velma Dace Dinkley, and she is a fictional character in one of the most loved and watched animated television series, Scooby-Doo, which is about the adventures of four crime-solving teenagers and their Great Dane, Scooby-Doo.  Velma is considered to be the most intelligent in the group and often makes great use of her skills in such areas as reading Chinese or Japanese, deciphering scientific formulae,  operating communications equipment, and so forth.  A running gag of the series is Velma’s trouble with keeping her glasses on her face.  Velma is very nearsighted, and her glasses are usually accidentally knocked off her face while being chased by the villain.  Her character is famous for the lines “Jinkies!” and “My Glasses! I can’t see without my glasses!”
